However, that is even more sad. Their brand new technology (and they have harped on how advanced IE8 is) is just able to meet standards that are completely surpassed. Interesting that such a huge company with so many resources is outdone by everyone. I think at some stage it becomes a skill to suck that much. Well IE8 does pass Acid2. You have to read a little bit at a time or else you get horrible nightmares. I had a conversation with one of my Catholic friends (who's really a Buddhist it turns out) and I was explaining that my plan for any children I have is to not allow them to join any religion until they're 18 and able to think for themselves. Her response was "yeah, but by then it's a lot harder for them to get into it". I explained that that was the point. Some of these I had not read before – a big thank you for finding them!
